We have a number of Masimo Radical 7 Pulse Oximeters that have a docking station. The sprung clips that make contact with the docking station are prone to breaking in use and Masimo claim the only options a) a new PCB @ £373 or return for repair @ £73.

Now I suspect that Masimo buy these clips in for much less than £73 - has anyone else sourced these parts? (or even know what I am rabbiting on about?) I have attempted Googling for them but to no avail.

I doubt if Masimo buy them at all, the PCB is proably made for them* so that is why they cannot sell you the part.

This looks like you need a few staregically placed nails in a board and some brass strip.

* I wonder in which country that is. Have you tried seaching ebay.cn? eek

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.

We have had the same issue with them and raised it as a quality issue with Masimo. Currently being repaired as extended warranty unless its obvious abuse.
