I'm trying to find a solution to a problem of yankauer tubes trailing on the floor when not in use.
It has been decided that all our suction systems should be setup ready to use. This includes having a yankauer fitting attached(open, but still in its packaging)
Our infection control team are happy to have the yankeur 'open' but would like to have the tubing secured somehow to prevent it trailing on the floor etc.
Most portable suction units have a handy strap with which to secure the tubing. I'm trying to find something similar which can be introduced easily to our wall systems.
The solution should be easily fitted, secure and not interfer with daily cleaning (ie: no velcro!)
I would be interested to hear if anyone has seen or uses anything which could help.
