Dear All,
We have almost five bbraun perfusor compact pumps, same fault appears in all of them following are symptoms-
1) After initial setting for flow rate, the pump starts infusing but after few minutes it stops with a audible alarm and there is no numerical code, once we press alarm to silence again starts infusing but same scenario after few minutes...
2) As an visual indication all it shows is a Rectange shape box with a cross sign marked which appears right ahead of the syringe indicator on the Screen.

I found this fault comes from motor mechanism part, but want to know that does this Visual symptom actually mean...

I checked the service manual but nothing comes for these faults.

All suggestions are welcome, kindly help me solve it.

this sign means a closed tube line. It happens when the pressure in the syringe increases over the settings. Possible reasons and solutions:

1) clogged needle or squeezed tube > clean the needle or release the tube

2) weak pressure settings > increase the pressure level - "<<<P"

3) not enough energy for the drive movement due to an internal problem > perform the repair and calibration (authorized service needed)
