Please help...Has anybody come across a Thackray Bi-Polar diathermy unit? it looks very ancient indeed but is (was) being used within a dental practice until removed by our good selves. I can’t find any reference to this company? Do they still exist? Any tech info would be appreciated. Oh and its full of wait for it...valves

Shouldn't need a manual for "traditional" kit like that, Rob (especially with the blokes you've got there).

Cheers Geoff, item is safer than a safe thing with real valves and discrete components etc unusual to see one still in use and identified as not being serviced for 3 years ouch...hope alls well at your end.

There must be a moral to that story somewhere.

Meanwhile, if you get tempted (or pressured) to "BER" good old kit like that, Rob ... be sure to put it to one side for me to collect. "Repairable" (sturdy, appropriate, rugged ... whatever) equipment like that is still sought after for donation to certain parts of the world.
