Hi,

In the interests of saving our trust some cash I have decided to repair an old light source (CLE-4U) instead of scrapping it. I spoke to Keymed and they stopped supporting it in 1993. The fault is a blown thermal fuse and singed wire on the mounting plate that sits in front of the lamp. Does anyone out there know what value the fuse should be? Keymed said that they destroyed their service manuals 8 years after the end of support date.

Hi Biomedbill,
I have a drawing that shows the fuse to be 139 deg C and labelled as F102. Will send drawings if required.
Hope this helps.
Pete
