Hi guys,

We have recently purchased 10 Alaris/Ivac P7000 Syringe pumps from an auction. The pumps all look brand new and seem really well kept.

However, they all (and I repeat all - bar none) give an Er 5 RAM error upon switching on. The first thing we went to is obviously for the back up battery. We found the batteries indeed to be drained. The batteries are the PCB mount NiMH 2.4V 80mAh batteries by Varta

We purchased some new batteries from RS components and replaced them, but to no avail :-/ We still get the Er5 error - which is strange since even the service manual immediately points towards the battery when given this error.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar? and if so whether there's anything we can do?

Thanks a lot in advance

Kind regards

Those pumps need to be re-configured (once all the settings have been lost).

Do you have the manual? smile
