Am I misreading this or have they got a total of 223 pumps and they test 2459 pumps per year. That is an average of 11 tests per pump per year. i.e. roughly monthly testing of pumps.
Overkill is an understatement!!! Given the length of time testing and retesting each pump, do any ever get used on a patient?
I also notice there is not really any standardisation.
Far too much time on their hands.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.
Hi Robert, exactly, monthly checks by 4 internal clinical engineers no less, I just wonder how many bods are employed in their clinical engr. dept.???? Obviously no budget restraints in that hopsital......
