Hi there does anybody have any of the above for the following:-

Conmed Linvatec, Hall surgical, DeSoutter, Synthes, Stryker pneumatic air tools (handpieces/attachments such as wire drivers/pin drivers/drill-reamers/pneumatic oscillators etc.etc
I understand this may be difficult

Also where can i get specialist tools to dismantle/assemble dental handpieces such as Aesculap/W&H/kavo. We have a few items but they are few and far between.

This is my first time on this site and any help/assistance would be grateful

Welcome to the forum, Regan. smile

When I saw your post I immediately thought of my (our?) old mate Terry Horton.

Terry used to be pretty clued up on the type of kit you mention, and used to be (or maybe still is, for all I know) Service Manager at 3M in Nottingham.

All that could be "historical" now - but maybe someone else on here has more current information about what Terry is up to these days.

(Terry ... where are you now?)

Hello

I haven't got the manuals or the tooling you are after; I do however have two very good repair companies you could try - ReNova Surgical for power tools (Jamie Llewelyn 01689 892122) and BA International for dental hand pieces (01604 777700).

Hi Regan,

Welcome. We use BA international as does Lee. They have never let us down, it does seem odd that you are asking for a lot of kit when most trusts won't let us buy a screwdriver.

Perhaps he works for an enlightened Trust that realises putting a little money up front on tools etc saves money in the long term on service contracts - or he is setting up his own repair business and wants the low down on competitors.
Hopefully the former - rumour has it that this sort of Trust does exist.
