Hi All

We currently use the Exergen LXN-1 Axillary Infrared Thermometer in our Neonatal Care Unit.

Our Clinicians are using a cover for these, described as a sheath it is essentially a long narrow plastic bag, bought from a third party. I've been checking the devices for accuracy and find that with the bag in place the reading is lowered by as much as 2DEG C.

Does anyone else on the Forum use these devices?
