Hi everybody,

I have a little problem with the keyboard of the Medison Sonoace X8 ultrasonograph of our Hospital. It's a foldable keyboard with a latch/lock that keeps it on the inside when is not in use, and you have to push it and release it in order to operate the equipment. The problem is that the keyboard is loose and doesn't latch to the lock... I opened the front panel and took off the lock/latch piece, i doesn`t know if it's ok or it's damaged, if someone who knows about this kind of Medison equipment can help me please...

Best regards,

Francisco.

Assuming that the QWERTY keyboard is sliding fully home then it sounds like either the latch, or whatever it latches to, is broken.

Take a closer look and then see if you can repair! smile

Broken (weakened) spring? Piece of plastic snapped off?

Is the keyboard itself working OK? If not, then you should be able to substitute it without too many problems. There should (may) be a USB connection inside (the keyboard).
