Never heard of them, I generally deal with Walters Medical as they do provide a good service at good cost. Henley's are good as well and very reliable. I would probably stay away from the NHS supply chain for consumables as they charge up to 17 percent commission, mind you at least they don't ask for a brown envelope or tea money or something else to do business and are more upfront on what they take ................

Myself, I would regard "NHS Supply Chain" as just another supplier.

I believe it is operated (on behalf of the "NHS Business Services Authority" - whatever that is) by DHL Supply Chain, which is in turn part of Deutsche Post DHL Group!

huh

I would suggest that to use the term "NHS" in the title of any for-profit business is, shall we say, rather misleading. Similarly with a number of other semi-commercial "ventures" that like to emphasise the NHS bit. frown

It's a bit like a company wholly owned by the Secretary of State for Health (eh? how does that work?) calling itself "NHS Professionals Ltd." ... or Geoff Hannis & Co. (Geoff and his mates) calling themselves "NHS Biomed Services"!

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

"Tea money" ... "brown envelopes" ... have you come across that sort of thing in the UK recently, then? think

But yes; I concur regarding Henleys, and Walters. Both have always given good service. smile

I shall be looking out for my "package" later, Richard.

When you have the time, you might like to take a look at this old thread. smile

Feel free to add to it ... unless, of course, gouges are now a thing of the past!

Sadly, the "Wall of Shame" site seems to have disappeared*.
