Good morning
My name is Fabio and I am a young electronic technician. Sorry for my
English. I congratulate with you for the site.
I ask you an information about autoclave because I can't found information
on it.
I’m working in biological company and there is an autoclave “SenecoScience
Juno” that has a problem with door lock security.
When it finishes the process of sterilization, sometimes it remain lock. I
watched lock system and there are 3 steel balls that locked it, but one of
this doesn't work very well. I think that lock system is magnetic but I
can't find any information. Do you know where can I find information about
lock system? Do you have a service manual? I attached photos of lock
system. Sorry for quality photos.
Thank you
Best regards

Welcome to the forum, Fabio. smile

You need to take the covers off and take a close look.

I don't know this machine, but imagine that those "three balls" are operated by a single mechanism (a rotating pawl, or some such thing); probably operated by a solenoid.

Perhaps just a bit of simple adjustment, cleaning and (or) light lubrication is required.

Good Luck! smile

spray with lubrication to the "three balls" might solve your problem.

Check the pin itself and you may find that there is a distinct lip around where the ball bearings secure onto the pin. This lip will cause the door to stick. A new pin will sort the issue as I would not advise filing or adjusting the original as it's a critical part.
