Just wondered if anyone had a Generic PPM Procedure/Checklist for general equipment that I could download?
Many thanks.

Check out what has gone before, Angus ... or (if you like) even this one from Ancient Times! smile

Here is another that I just happen to have to hand (it is used as a general "preamble" to more detailed tasks that may be specific to the equipment in question):-

Code

Check complete equipment with all its accessories to verify
total serviceability. Examine mains cable and plug. Inspect
fuse(s) for correct rating. Conduct electrical safety tests
as applicable. Ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
Leave controls in normal (safe) position. Fix dated sticker.

Or, if you have plenty of time to spare ... see here! - although (sadly) a lot of those old links are no longer valid. frown

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

Thank you, Angus. You're very welcome. smile

Meanwhile, here's another I have come across amongst my *souvenirs:-

Code

 1) Clean and Inspect.
 2) Replace and (or) Repair.
 3) Tighten and Lubricate.
 4) Adjust and (or) Calibrate.

Quite a neat "General Procedure", I reckon; and one that readily lends itself to detailed development as and when necessary.
