Hi,
This is a long shot, but a Dr has requested me to look for some software for hardware he has purchased online. He has a Nicolet EMG system that runs Viking Quest 11.1 software. When he received the system is was working for about a year, even though it is many years old, but then had a hard drive crash on the laptop. He said that he never received any disks for the system. He mainly bought it for a backup to his even older system that runs Viking Quest 8 software.
Does anyone have this Viking Quest software 11.1? The vendor in Canada does not service these anymore, but would like to sell him a new system. He just needs to reload the software or repair it as it is mostly working. I told the Dr to contact Nicolet in the USA, but I thought I would also check here for him as well.
Thanks,
Dale Shuya

Another long shot, Dale ... you could try dropping a line to Cephalon.

Good Luck! smile

When I contacted Nicolet USA, asking for some technical assistance, they just said they do not sell that software version as it is out of date (from 2009). If the Dr cannot get this unit running again and he needs to buy another I am sure it will not be Nicolet.

I feel your pain, Dale; no doubt we've all been there. frown

Many of us hate to see perfectly good (and, no doubt, "well loved") kit cast aside simply for the lack of a couple of files, "licence(s)", access keys ... or some other such nefarious item.

After all, what would it take for a Tech Support guy at Nicolet to bung that software onto a memory stick and get it to you ... or even send it as an email attachment.

I just hope (and/or wish) that someone on here could do the same. There's always a chance that someone has it hidden away somewhere.
