Hi there!

I'm just after some information as I've just applied for an entry level position as a biomedical engineer at alderhey foundation trust, waiting to see if I get an interview but in the meantime I'm after some advice on the type of questions I might be asked and if there's any pieces of equipment I might be asked questions on.

I have been advised to check out MHRA regulatory body out for information. Are there any regulations I might be asked on if I get an interview?

I've also been advised I would likely start out on low risk equipment, which I'm going to do some research today on.

But any advice or pointers would be fantastic.

Kind regards

Sam

Hi Sam,
You should have a look at https://assets.publishing.service.g.../Managing_medical_devices_-_Apr_2015.pdf
Lots of useful information.

Also have a look at the electrical safety pages on this website: https://www.ebme.co.uk/articles/electrical-safety

Good luck.
