hi,


does anybody have any positive/negative feedback on the baxter evo IQ volumetric pump now that it has been on the market for some time.thanks in advance.

Well, they look "very similar" to the Mindray VP-5.

The Evo IQ LVP (are they the same?) was the subject of an "Urgent Field Safety Notice" in Ireland a year ago.

From a users point of view - we upgraded from the colleagues and the blue clamp on the tube set was inserted the opposite way, this has been the biggest training issue and fault we've seen the most. The blue clamp gets stuck in the mechanism and needs an engineer to get it out again.

From an engineering point of view - bar the blue clamp issue, few faults really, mainly case damage from being dropped! Software and wifi work well.

Yes, Blue clip issue here in Australia I suggested to Baxter to have one end colored to aviod this happening and delays to patient treatment.

Did anybody purchase the handles, what are your thoughts on these as well ?
