Morning all, Sorry if this has been raised before. I work at Royal Cornwall in Truro, and our Trust has signed up to an electronic patient records project with Oracle Cerner (now Oracle Healthcare). I think all Trusts will be going down this route as laid down by NHS England. We currently use Mindray Patient Monitoring and this has an option to connect 3rd party devices (e.g. anaesthetic machine / vents) via a module called Benelink and then to the EPR. Oracle Cerner have their own system called Cerner Connectivity Engine (CCE) but we have never seen it. Does anyone work at a trust that uses Mindray / Oracle Cerner EPR and / or uses Oracle's Connectivity Engine? We would like to get some feedback before we decide which route. Thanks in advance! Andy

Hi Andy,
I would not recommend the CCE/DA route, rather I would go for the gateway solution.
If you have Primus Anaesthesia Machines and go with the CCE/DA solution you are going to need opto/Isolators between the DA and the CCE otherwise the Primus will fail the self test.
