I was wanderwind if I can I buy somewhere batteries for PB980 ventillator, not being registered in Medtronic/Covidien.
Transport to EU place where we have "free market".

Hi Michal, there was an urgent field safety notice issued by Medtronic in Dec. 2017 regarding corrupt firmware of their own OEM batteries, I would assume it may be very difficult to purchase compatible Li-ion with the correct firmware installed (I may be wrong.

I understand Covidien make you pay through the nose for these items, but I dont think I'd risk it.

Long gone are the days of the PB840 with with their lead acid batteries.
