Hello,

I have a clients Einstein Vision EV2 unit using the EV2-000054 0degrees camera head.

The unit no longer shows 3D images and when the scope button for 180degree is pressed it does not function.

Then at one time all functions that is is OK and again during surgery or while testing it stops working.

I want to open up the unit and have a visual inspection of the processing boards and all but would love pointers if anyone of you has encountered such issues.

What exactly happens when it stops working, Ngatti? Blank screen ... or (anything else)?

I'm wondering it it could simply be a "bad connection" somewhere ... at the rear of the units in the stack, for instance.

Better check the pins on the camera cable as well.

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

Hello Geoff,

I am currently checking all the pins for the two camera PCB,s. The initial issue was the 2D/3D button at the control panel not working and the camera head 180degree button not working as well.

I have examined the first board and pin for camera control and they are all ok. Moving on to the second board then I will examine the 2D/3D button
