We are looking for motivated and driven individuals to become part of our dedicated Electro Bio-Medical Engineering (EBME) team at Noble’s Hospital.
About the role
We are a small and dedicated team and working with us you will undertake planned maintenance on a diverse
range of medical and other equipment. In addition to planned work there is a steady stream of reactive maintenance much of which is by definition of an urgent nature.
Under the supervision of senior technicians you will also analyse and diagnose faults in complex electrical and mechanical medical equipment, calibrate and operate test equipment and carry out electrical safety testing of
This is a new role whereby dependent on your experience, you will enter into this role at one of four levels.
Dependent on the level you enter at, you will be placed on the pay scale for this post on the corresponding
If we think you hold the skills and experience required to operate at level 4 you can join the team at this level.
If you’ve recently completed your training and perhaps looking for your first role in the field, you can enter at level 1 and this post will provide you a fantastic opportunity to develop and enhance your skills to become a fully trained and skilled Medical Equipment Technician.
What do I need to be successful?
You will need to hold an ONC or its equivalent in electronic engineering or hold a recognised trade qualification in electrical / electronic engineering and/or registration as an electrical tradesman.
The nature of this role, often means that each day brings new challenges so we are looking for people with the ability to prioritise and plan workloads and work to a high standard to achieve set deadlines. We’re a committed and dedicated team so it’s important to us that you have the ability to develop good working relationships and have a professional, friendly and motivated approach to work!
