The COVID-19 outbreak has highlighted medical engineering as a critical part of the healthcare system, without which, clinicians and equipment cannot function in a safe and effective manner. As a result, NHS trusts across the UK are utilising their Apprenticeship Levy to train in-house bio-medical engineers.
The Avensys Training Academy has recently partnered with Dudley College of Technology to co-deliver Bio-Medical Apprenticeships. This exciting new partnership offers the highest level of technical training to meet the needs of the healthcare sector.
In September 2021 the partnership will develop a stage further with the opening of the Black Country and the Marches Institute of Technology in Dudley; IoT.
The IoT is a new purpose-built multi-million pound facility from which Avensys and Dudley College of Technology will co-deliver these Apprenticeships. For more information or to register for an Apprenticeship visit:
