JPEN Medical Introduces A New Way to Deal with Heavy EBME Workloads
JPen Medical is pleased to announce the launch of its ?Rent an Engineer? scheme for hospitals and clinics throughout the UK.
The scheme allows EBME departments to ?rent? qualified engineers on a day-rate basis to assist with heavy workloads and PPM. The service has already been taken up by a number of hospitals and clinics.
The engineers supplied are full time employees of JPen, not agency workers, so you don?t have to worry about sickness absence or National Insurance.
Reasons for using JPen have included:
- Help to cover staff sickness and holiday absences; - Help to catch up with PPM backlogs; and - Help to cover surrounding surgeries and clinics, allowing your engineers to concentrate on hospital work.
JPen?s engineers are trained and equipped to carry out PPM on a wide range of medical equipment. This includes basic ?bread and butter? equipment such as scales, blood pressure monitors, spirometers, thermometers, pulse oximeters, nebulisers and suction pumps.
In addition, JPen can offer a service for more complex items, such as audiometry (National Physical Laboratory qualified), syringe drivers and feed pumps.
