Welch Allyn

Welch Allyn’s new Service Centre in Tilburg in the Netherlands, which will be fully operational by the end of 2013, will result in enhanced customer support and communications, as well as a faster turn round for product servicing and repairs, promises the company, whose track record for quality and innovation stretches back almost 100 years.

A major investment for the company, the move signals Welch Allyn’s commitment to providing streamlined facilities tailored specifically to the need of customers throughout Europe and the Middle East. Reflecting growing demand, it has been exceptionally well received by customers.

The centre will be fully operational by the end of 2013, and will be joined, in 2014, by a brand new European HQ, also in the Netherlands.

In addition to faster response times and improved tracking, Welch Allyn is also making it easier for customers to resolve problems on site by speaking to its technical experts, reducing the need for products to be shipped to the company and keeping downtime to a minimum. With warehousing facilities also on site, the result is a comprehensive range of easily accessible support services.

To enhance the process still further, Welch Allyn’s support technicians work closely with the bench repair team, providing product calibration maintenance services as well as repairs. If products do need to be returned, the firm’s Return Material Authorisation (RMA) makes the process, and product tracking, exceptionally straightforward.

‘The European Service Centre has been designed with the customer in mind,’ says Jan McMeekin, UK Country Manager at Welch Allyn. ‘The integration of our technical and repair team is making problem reporting and solving more straightforward than ever before . We are already starting to receive positive feedback and have every confidence that this will increase once the centre becomes fully operational from the end of December.’
