There will be numerous 30 minute sessions throughout the day

Synopsis:
Learn how to quickly and simply evaluate an ultrasound probe and assess its fitness for use.
This hands-on practical session will give you all the knowledge, procedures and tools to go back and be confident when approaching first-line issues with ultrasound probes.
MultiMedix BSI CertThe session has been created by Multi-Medix and Dr Nick Dudley, who is a key part of the team that produced IPEM and BMUS guidance on Ultrasound Quality Assurance.
Attendees will get a FREE Quick Guide, Test Tool and Certificate, and ongoing assess to our support service.
Sessions are 30 minutes long, limited to 10 attendees per session, so please reserve your place ASAP.

We have live demonstrations of Monidrop and encourage delegates to come and try the Monidrop for themselves to see how it can be of use in the healthcare environment.

A half-day taster session, designed for biomeds and field service engineers to get an overview of basic ultrasound theory, physics and clinical application.
This leads onto our full three day course that Jim leads covering basic ultrasound theory, ultrasound physics, clinical applications of ultrasound, theory of operation and block diagram components common to all ultrasound systems and probes.

Synopsis:
Defibrillators have an important role to play in providing the necessary intervention required for successful CPR procedures.

Advancements in technology have given emergency medical services staff the tools to deliver advanced life support solutions, reducing potentially fatal outcomes. AEDs are also improving out-of-hospital cardiac arrest outcomes, and can be found globally in most public places for layman’s use.

With this in mind, regular performance and safety tests of defibrillators will further improve patient safety, by ensuring the devices meet manufacturers’ specifications, are accurate, and meet their intended purpose of use.
