I am working as a volunteer EBME engineer for the Royal Victoria Hospital in The Gambia. I will be visiting the hospital in October & probably going to work there full time early next year. The hospital has a lot of non-working incubators & has no service or technical manuals for any of the equipment in the hospital. I have not worked in a UK hospital for some years & local hospitals which I have contacted do not maintain incubators anymore. Draeger appear to have taken over the world & they want £50 for service manuals. Can anyone who has service manuals for airshield, vickers or Draegar incubators & would be prepared to lend me a copy while I am in the UK contact me? johnc.smith@capit.co.uk

I have recently visited the Gambia on the recommendation of a sadley departed late friend from adenbrooks and know all the good work that the uk nhs staff are doing there. I have Microfische complete manuals left over from my days with Draeger, Incubator 8000, 8000sc, 8000ic and transport incubatot 5400. if they are of use please get in touch with an address to post them onto.
