Dear All.
Can some one help me out to remove "CAL" error from welch allyn VSM 53000 NIBP monitor.
Waiting for positive reply.

Yes i think this software utility might clear the problem as one engineer told me.
But the download link is not working any more. I have downloaded new CONNEX VSM software but it is not communicating with my 53000.:-(
If any other member can post a rapidshare link of that utility, or let me know that new Connex VSM utility can work or not with my 53000.

The software program I have works very well with the 52000. I'm not sure about the 53000.

But Jonathan will be able to help. No doubt about that. smile

Is this "CAL" error displayed in the message window? These units do a zero baseline cal now and again, which you ignore and just let the unit get on with it.

Chris thanks for your reply. The CAL error display comes in left side SYSTOLIC LED DISPLAY, not in message lcd display.

Just checked, the CAL is displayed in the SYSTOLIC LED DISPLAY, the user manual calls the front panel the message window, but the user manual clearly shows it located in this area.

User and Service manuals are located here and the service manual does show the recalibration procedure if you still need it.

If only other manufacturers would follow Welch-Allyn's lead with such an open policy on technical documentation.

After all, whatever it is others imagine they will lose by making manuals available, WA obviously doesn't agree.
