Has anyone experienced the following:

You go through the A4C Banding process and come though the other end, either with or without an 'review'.

When your Trust finds out that it is 'in-the-red', they suggest that you may have been incorrectly banded and should possibly be on a lower band?

I ask, because that is the rumour currently in circulation here.

The employer can not appeal any afc matching result once it has been released. Their only way of affecting banding outcomes is in the consistency stage which is before you are notified of the banding and if they don't do that properly, tough.
Any attempt to reband later is in breach of the afc agreement.

They can however, decide that you are no longer required to do some parts of your current job description and issue you with a new one. This WOULD then require the new JD to be banded.
