Dear Friends,

We are getting the following 2 errors in Ohmeda 3740 pusle oximeters.
1. Test signal DC reference error - service unit.

2. ROM test error low byte - service unit.

What can be the problems ? how to solve this ?

Also i would like to get the technical manual for datex 3740 pulse oximeters , kindly send it to my mail jerrytmathew@yahoo.com.

To get rid of the 1st Error you need to plug in to AC Mains.
Its Standard if the Battery has been dis-connected or is U/S
The 2nd looks like an eprom fault.

Its connecetd to the mains & battery is fine , but still the errors persists....

Hi Jerry,

both these failures indicate an SMT board failure. I hope this helps
