Representing a £2.5m investment in state-of-the-art facilities, The Trent Simulation & Clinical Skills Centre at QMC will be the first centre of its kind in the UK to combine advanced patient simulation and clinical skills training. To establish and further develop this new, high profile multi-professional centre, due to open in Spring 2004, we're looking for a talented individual to deliver the technical aspects of planning, organising and operating this new facility.
Primarily based within the clinical skills area of the centre, you will be responsible for providing technical support to a wide range of skills based courses including surgical skills training and moving and handling training. You will also work with the Senior Technician to operate the advanced patient simulators as well as the audiovisual recording and editing suite for courses. Your remit will include the day-to-day preparation, co-ordination and delivery of the technical elements of the skills based courses, directly supporting course leaders and building strong relationships with a range of trainers and users.
Grade MTO 2 Salary £15,069 - £19,069 p.a. Contract type Permanent
