Search back though this site and you will find a posting by Paul Robins dated 4-Feb-04 to quote from this:

Posts of this nature are covered by the professional manager profiles or the relevant senior EO profiles or the relevant Clinical Scientist Profile, This profile in this format refers to a post heading up Mechanical Services say in an "EBME" service which has Electronic, Anaesthetic and Mechanical and other services for example' - I just with it were a bit clearer in the published profile if it really means section rather than department. Here in York I have 13 staff including Renal and Anaesthetics and report to the Director of FM. I'm paid on EO3 so band 7 would be good news for me.
