John, we have a designated nurse-training specialist this dude is in charge of keeping staff up to date with training. Our department runs various “time tabled” courses throughout the year and the Nurse Training Specialist delegates candidates to attend these course's.
As your good self, certificates are dispatched to successful candidates and a computer record kept. Meanwhile, nurses do continue to operate equipment “Within their limitations” and under instruction from their “Equipment Trained” mentor.
