Yes. I have had a problem in the past. A number of patient cables delivered with new equipment from Datascope gave me a problem, I returned them under warranty and they were replaced. The problem seems to have gone now but I get my normal supply of replacement cables from Viamed. These seem free from the problem.

I also experienced problems with Henleys Masimo compatable rubber envolope type probes and they have stopped distributing them, to the best of my knowledge.

I understand the problem is to do with poor quality connections in the plug at the equipment end. It is a pity because as you say I find the Masimo system to be very good.
