Last time I was in Middlesbrough, I was saddened to find that it looked like an industrial waste-land. But they do have a nice hospital there! Cumbria is the beautiful far north-west of England, and is also home to some fine hospitals (as indeed is Gulu in Uganda)!

Regional accents remain a feature of the British Isles (I’m pleased to say) despite all the advances in mobility and communications (and at least it amuses the tourists)! But there again, the same can still be said of the Arab World, and Africa too, no doubt about it. smile
