Can't help you with documents, unfortunately. But, surely every NHS Trust runs regular Health and Safety "Manual Handling" courses (so those people must have it all "chapter and verse", I would have thought). But really it's all about common sense. Don't over-load, and keep the heavy stuff at the bottom (keep the centre of gravity as low down as possible). Don't tell me your new trolley didn't come with an instruction book!
