Can anyone tell me - how you deal with the NHS decontamination policy which forbids EBME engineers doing anything to a medical device without a Decontamination Certificate, or to be formal a "Declaration of Contamination Status"? In particular how does your department deal with an urgent request to attempt repair to say an Anaesthetic Machine in use in a Theatre?
