Unfortunately I have not worked on that device, but from your description it sounds like a Phoenix connector to me. They come in numerous variations of number of contacts etc, but are almost always green and flat on one side, half round on the other. Try searching for Phoenix online to find a catalogue. They are a German company and the products are used in industry a lot, They are a very large company so should have a distributor near you.
