Looks like they've had their first
big bang at the LHC! Unfortunately for them it wasn't the cosmic variety but instead the sort that involves magnets melting, circuit breakers resetting and the summoning of the Geneva firebrigade.
Looks like the end of the world will be on hold for just a while!
