I know them. They will sell equipment on your behalf. That is, they provide a service. They are "up front" about everything. No problem.

As you know, there are other ways of getting rid of equipment. Auction, donation
etc. It depends what you're looking for. But if you want to maximize your revenue, then DDR could well be the answer. But don't forget that equipment doesn't always sell (even at auction).
It all rather depends on what sort of kit you have in mind. For instance, recent ultrasound equipment should find a ready market ... whilst old defibs, infusion pumps
etc. are "two a penny"!
