Can they supply a cable that will allow the same sensor to be used with Massimo and Nellcor technology ??
A few months back, we had "auditioned" a compatible cable from Datascope Trio with Masimo to a Nellcor SpO2 endpoint.
Results:
1. The compatible cable can accept only certain sensors, mostly disposable. Doesnt work with our current DS100s.
2. It takes time for the waveform to appear on screen (lag)compared to using the original cables.
Am thinking of getting several pieces for backup purposes as we have different distributors for Datascope and Masimo in our part of the world and original spare parts and accessories are difficult to come by.
Our local supplier gets his bulk supply from same company in Korea. Their contact in the company is Mr. Bruce Lee.
