I wonder what would happen if someone who hadnt had the right training and did calibrate something as per instructions from another person on this forum and the piece of kit involved did kill someone and upon police (or whoever)investigation the person who did the work quoted advice from the other person on this forum. Could that person be held responisible, one things for sure you cant hide behind some alias. They can upon request get hold of everyones ID, email etc. etc.

But im sure thats why the manufactuers of kit dont give info out willy nilly. And im sure thats why Urmish could have a valid point that shouldnt be dismissed quite so abruptly guys.
To use the keeping kitin use approach. Does that mean you'd give access codes and cal data to nurse jones in theatres in order to keep the kit in use at all times?
