Having looked in to the possibility of travelling to certain countries recently, it seems to me that one of the major expenses would be in getting my 'jabs' sorted out and back up to date.
Just another reason really to support my view that these days it may be better to stay at home and support guys 'out there' remotely. After all (and as I may have mentioned before), things have moved on a bit now, what with the internet and all.
The other consideration is that of 'best use of time'. At my stage of the game, I have an increasing feeling that I don't have too much (time) left! Days spent travelling from town to town in the
bush, hanging around for endless hours in airports, and all the rest, may well be jolly for those looking for adventure ... but does it actually get the kit fixed?
