The problem is that the filters clip on to the pumps so need a specific sized connector on the machine end. An appropriate type of filter would be easy to obtain but one that fitted on to the pump is harder. Pall filters are just down the road so I will try them as well.
The pumps have been sitting in a cupboard on a ward for a while, were serviced and got working then the ward realised they had no filters and no records of where they used to get them from - possibly GU when they existed.

As a supplementary question - does anyone know of a current manufacturer of wound drain pumps? And I do not mean of the KCI VAC type but ones for draining fluid from body cavities.
