As you probably already know, there are many "project" oriented forum websites out there ...
this one, for example.
Is it something practical that is required, or is it a "write-up" (so many thousand words on this or that)?
If you're really stuck, there is always the
GLIB!
If it's a
thesis that they are after, then there's always a whole list of "usual suspects" (in the context of medical applications):-
1) Batteries
2) ECG techniques
3) Electrodes (ECG,
etc.)
4) Infusion pump techniques
5) Lab analyzers
6) Lamps (
eg, including "special" ones)
7) Motors (
eg, "steppers" in pumps, big 'uns in x-ray systems)
8) NIBP techniques
9) Physiological signals (ECG, EEG, EMG ... and all the rest)
10) "Probes" of all kinds
11) SpO2 techniques
12) Ultrasound techniques
13) X-ray techniques
... in fact the list is endless!
How big is your project supposed to be, and what are its boundaries, I wonder?
Many, many years ago I did mine on "DC Machines" the first year, and "AC Machines" the second (if I remember rightly). Generators and motors, basically. And I recall a practical project about controlling a DC motor
via BASIC code (we felt very chuffed about that at the time)!
If it's something "medical" that you're after, I would suggest a thesis about the effects of DC on the body (skin, cells, muscles) ... if only because this is something that has
evoked* my own interest
recently!

Could that be a pun?
