If VRCT et al had any real value to it, surely it would not simply be "gaining traction" after all these years, but rather it would now be "deeply entrenched"!

I believe the whole thing needs to be re-considered, and (if confirmed to be absolutely necessary) re-launched. And properly thought through and explained this time, as well.

As mentioned before, I would advocate "BMET certification" on the American (US) model. Meaningful. Practical. With everyone set at the same "benchmark" (that is:- if a tech is Certified, then you know what you are getting, as a certain - common - standard must have been attained). smile
