Don't think there is any great secret Geoff. There are still eight outstanding field safety notices on the Plum pumps as detailed here
Hospira FSN's and because they have no CE marking they are fairly restricted in the way of what they can sell you as spares. Now it looks like they are going to make the problem go away by bringing out a new pump. Wonder what will happen to all the old ones?
