Hello.
I have a Spacelabs Blease Focus anesthesia machine that have a 900 series ventilator (990f). This machine needs to be calibrated and, when AC voltage fails, it turns off. The backup battery seems to be ok because it has the nominal voltage and can sustain a current to a resistive load (1.5 A approx.). The voltages measured at the test points in control board are within tolerances. When connected to AC, this machine turns on and the led in front of the anesthesia ventilator changes from green to yellow, and it is ready to work. If it is disconnected from AC when it is on, the backup battery doesn't work, and the ventilator turns off. This ventilator has a PCB (VAB Power Supply) that has the connectors to all system, and I think here is where the fail is generated, but unfortunately I don't have the service manual for this machine.
Please, if some one could give some advice regarding this issue, or has the service manual and can share a copy, I will be very grateful.
My best regards.
Ismael Alvarado.
