Never gave it a thought. Lead/tin all the way for a simpler and neater job without too much heat to compromise surrounding items or boards.
Having said that, faulty boards were mainly just replaced, so it was largely attachments or the occasional dry joint under the soldering iron.
90% of a good solder joint is about being comfortable and the rest with decent tips. ðŸ‘
