Is it too late to change your thesis to something like:- "Practical Methods of Prolonging (or Extending) the Useful Life of Medical Equipment"?

Slightly off topic:- I would like to see funding (from the Magic Money Tree?) set aside for a decent workshop where donated equipment can be properly prepared before handing over - staffed, most likely, by "greybeard" biomed volunteers.
