Short: Any help in finding HPU-03 (High Pressure Unit) Part# 200-3432-X for Stryker 40L Highflow Insufflator ?
Long: Our hospital uses a number of Stryker 40L Insufflators and with time, three units have shown CO2 leakage problem inside the unit. Safety release valve attached to HPU were operating because the pressure regulator wasn't able to reduce the pressure to required level. The output pressure was found to be way high.
HPU is not available or I couldn't find it. Has anybody ever tried to repair the HPU ? I opened up one unit and found the rubber seal / washer to be worn out. It's a 1.5 x 7.0 x 2.0 mm (ID x OD X Th) washer. It might be some special material owing to work in CO2 environment.
I will prefer a new unit / pre-calibrated but can't find one. Any help in sourcing the HPU or repair tip ?
Attached picture shows the source of problem (damaged rubber washer in the needle valve) due to which HPU can't maintain its function of reducing the pressure to about 3.2 bar (as per service manual).
