When we looked at Purchasing in DB9801 (as part of the user group remit), we decided to combine the Supplies user group with the EBME user group, and called it the EBME/Supplies user group. (surprise,surprise).
This has helped with attendance and also problems between ebme and supplies, such as Pre-purchase questionaires are now done properly. i.e. I sign the approval BEFORE the equipment is ordered. Many a time in the past, we received equipment before the PPQ.
Our closer relationship with supplies has made a huge difference. (something worth considering)
